AGV TOURMODULAR helmet model DOT (E2206) homologation Recall Campaign
Dainese is committed to the safety of our customers. In cooperation with the National Highway Safety Administration and Health Canada, Dainese is voluntarily recalling specific batches of AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Multi MPLK and AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Solid MPLK motorcycle helmets.?In certain AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Multi MPLK and AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Solid MPLK motorcycle helmets, the chin guard plate may, over time, break. If chin guard plate breaks, there is a potential risk that the helmet is not securely fastened. A helmet that is not securely fastened may not remain secure on a user’s head during a crash, which increases the risk of severe injury or death.
To determine whether your AGV Tourmodular helmet is subject to this preventive assistance campaign, please follow the instructions below:
1. Look at the labels on the chin strap on your helmet.
Look at the label depicted in the photo that appears below. That label identifies the serial number of your helmet. The serial number appears to the right of the Circle containing the E3. The serial number will use the same format in the photo (e.g., 062032-P/J-0000238).
2. Dainese is voluntarily taking back AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Multi MPLK and AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Solid MPLK motorcycle helmets that meet the homologation requirements below:

We are conducting this campaign to keep our customers safe.
A possible quality problem has been detected as part of our internal checks on our Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Multi MPLK and AGV Tourmodular DOT (E2206) Solid MPLK motorcycle helmets, whereby a component of the chin guard mechanism could break.

If Dainese confirms that the helmet’s serial number is included in this recall, Dainese USA will provide you with a return kit that will allow you to ship your helmet to Dainese free of charge. Dainese will repair and return your helmet free of charge. You may also return your helmet to a Dainese retail location, which you can find at https://www.dainese.com/us/en/stores/.
If repair is not feasible, Dainese will substitute the helmet or proceed with a refund. The refund will be made directly by Dainese if the helmet was purchased on agv.com or dainese.com. If the helmet was purchased at a Dainese dealer or at an official Dainese Store, the refund will be processed by the store.
Yes, of course, you may return your recalled helmet.
