Dainese offers you a special guarantee for the products accompanied by the certificate of authenticity 'printed with the symbol "No _ years warranty" (hereinafter "product(s)").
However, please note that you will maintain any “legal warranty” right towards the retailer (physical or online) from which you purchased the product.
The Dainese warranty has a validity equal to the number of years indicated on the symbol "n° _ years warranty" printed on the certificate of authenticity and will start from the date of purchase of the product.
The warranty is in any case excluded for claims submitted more than 7 (seven) years from the date of manufacture of the product.
In order to activate the Dainese Warranty, please register within 30 days of purchasing the product:
- by reading the qr code on the certificate of authenticity; or
- by linking to the web page https://warranty.dainese.com/registration;
following the instructions.
The Dainese warranty covers any type of manufacturing defect or defect in the materials with which the product was manufactured except for the following exclusions.
Any non-conformity of the product with its expectations in any way generated shall not be considered a defect for the purposes of this warranty.
Expressly excluded from the Warranty:
- Antifog visors, mirrored visors or other materials or components;
- Paints sensitive to atmospheric agents (fluorescent colours, matt/mat/soft touch paints, also for chromatic alterations);
- Padding and inner linings;
- Comfort flap of the chin strap;
- Electronic components;
- Airbags and related operating mechanisms.
Damage arising from the following is also excluded: improper use, normal wear and tear (es. Wear and tear leather/fabric, mechanisms, chin guard, interiors, visor seals), damage, tampering, incorrect product maintenance, negligence or carelessness, damage caused by falls and/or accidents, or by alterations due to external causes, including any repairs carried out by unauthorised persons, damage caused by other factors/acts outside Dainese's control, subjective user evaluations such as comfort and fit, damage due to prolonged exposure to light sources and/or heat sources.
This warranty is limited to products purchased by you from "authorized" dealers only.
In order to benefit from the Dainese warranty it is essential to have correctly registered the product on the Dainese website in the dedicated area, providing all the information requested.
To receive technical assistance it will be necessary to provide Dainese with the requested product, through any point of sale "authorized" Dainese or by contacting the company directly through the form that you find:
- on the website https://www.dainese.com for Dainese branded products; or
- on the website http://www.youhuo8.com for AGV branded products; or
- on the website https://www.tcxboots.com for TCX branded products;
At the bottom of the home page under "contact us". Products returned for technical assistance must be clean and in good hygienic condition. Products for which this warranty is excluded shall not be sent (see above under "Coverage and exclusions").
Dainese reserves the right to verify the defect of the product and to carry out the repair or replacement of the product based on the extent of the damage and the technical feasibility of repair.
If the inspection by Dainese does not reveal a manufacturing or material defect, Dainese reserves the right to charge the customer for the costs of inspection and repair/cleaning as well as the associated transport costs (outward/return).
If Dainese is unable to repair or replace the product or parts thereof, Dainese will make you an offer to replace the product with another identical or equivalent model, taking however into account the age of the product and its state of wear and tear and use at the time of the claim.
